Tokyo Auto Salon 2017 – Kouki 86 Galore (Part 1)
This is our first post about the coverage we did on the FT86s at Tokyo Auto Salon 2017. This first part is focused on the second generation 86 (2016/2017 facelift/Kouki). The next posts will be about the first generation, but I’m sure you’ll also enjoy seeing the progress on the newly designed car.
Here are the tuners that made some awesome modifications on their Kouki’s:
Blitz
Blitz came up with a pretty cool adaptation of their existing widebody to make it fit the facelifted 86. The front bumper is insanely aggressive and so is the fenfer flares. They also decided to add a carbon fiber front splitter on top of that. It looks pretty nice with the stock rear spoiler, too. It’s also rocking the Enkei RS05RR Wheels.
Varis always release high quality, aggressive and nice flowing aerodynamics. The Kouki 86 is no exception. The White/Red/Black design also gives the car a nice sporty look. We can see the car rocking Front Lip, Hood, Side Steps, Rear Diffuser, Trunk & Wing.
TRUST
Their booth was pretty crowded, so not much pictures here, but it’s nice to see that they’re working on developing new parts for the Kouki.
Cusco also is very serious about the new platform and has been working a lot on bringing new parts for the facelifted 86. They are rocking the factory TRD Aerodynamics and a bunch of chassis stiffening products.
They also built a wonderful “sporty” concept 86 with camo paint & roof rack.
C-West
C-West has been quiet in the past decade, but they’re back and stronger than ever. The Kouki 86 sure looks awesome with their Front Lip, Front Fender, Side Skirts, Rear Diffuser & Rear Wing!

They also brought their Kouki 86 with their awesome and super aggressive Hood, Front Bumper, Rear Bumper, GT Wing & Side Skirts. Can’t wait to see more of this car~
Aimgain is known for their very cool VIP designs and extreme wide body kits. They just released their 86 Kouki Wide Body Kit that sure will be a popular modification. Look is perfect and suits the facelift perfectly.
SARD updated their GT3 Kit for the Kouki 86. It now has an updated front bumper that’s pretty cool and still integrates the extreme wide bod kit from previous generation. You can also spot their SARD Fender Garnish, SARD Tail Lights, SARD Induction Pipe & SARD LSR Wing.
REAL is a relatively new company, but their products are top notch. They brought a nice facelifted 86 and showed their new models of steering wheels! (Sorry, pictures are very dark)
